Surveillance Lead Operator

Responsible for monitoring all areas of the property via the CCTV System to ensure the protection of life and property assets.
Protects company assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on the property, particularly the gaming floor.
Serves as the supervisor on duty when the supervisor is off duty.
Reports all illegal or unusual activity to the appropriate individual.
Changes out surveillance tapes at assigned times.
Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Mississippi Gaming Commission and adheres to same.
Participates in the maintenance of a daily log, accurately reporting the shift events.
Supports other associates, supervisors, and executives within the company with regard to protection of assets in their respective departments.
Maintains and augments skills through review and self-study.
Utilizes necessary equipment to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activity occurring on property.
Coordinates with the Security Department when Surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention.
Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of the Surveillance Department.
Maintains high-level of knowledge regarding the company's products and happenings, and communicates properly to guests; establishes rapport with all guests through name recognition.
Notifies manager/supervisor of low inventory and recommends new inventory; communicates opportunities and concerns.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management or supervisors and moves with a sense of urgency.
Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports any accidents to management.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Team Member Handbook.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE :
Knowledge of and experience with closed circuit television equipment preferred.
Must possess excellent observation and communication skills.
Must be able to detect any schemes or cheating activity aimed at the company or its'' guests.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts
Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Good judgment and decision making abilities
Must be 21 years old.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
OTHER:
A Mississippi Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position.
Basic keyboarding skills required.

Frequently required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.
Frequently required to wash hands and/or wear gloves.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
