In this crucial role, you'll be the foundation of a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests and staff.
Here's what you'll do:
Enforce all house rules and maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Conduct security checks at the entrance, including ID verification and bag checks.
Patrol the venue and de-escalate any potential conflicts.
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
Maintain a professional demeanor and ensure all guests adhere to Mississippi state liquor laws.
Collaborate effectively with staff and local law enforcement to ensure a safe and secure environment.
We're looking for someone who:
Possesses a valid Mississippi Security Guard License or is eligible to obtain one within 30 days.
Has at least 1 year of experience working in a security role (experience in the nightlife industry a plus).
Maintains a strong physical presence and commands respect.
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to de-escalate situations calmly and professionally.
Has a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to security.
Is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Is available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (flexible schedule possible, with additional hours required for special events).
Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the US.
