In this key role, you'll be the first impression of Lobster Bar, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start to every guest's dining experience.
Here's what you'll do:
Greet guests with a warm smile and a professional demeanor.
Efficiently seat guests, considering table preferences and wait times.
Maintain an accurate waitlist and communicate wait times clearly and confidently.
Answer guest questions about the restaurant and menu with a basic knowledge and a willingness to learn more.
Maintain a clean and organized hostess station for a seamless guest experience.
Collaborate with wait staff to ensure smooth seating and service flow.
We're looking for someone who:
Has a minimum of 1 year of experience as a hostess (experience in a fast-paced dining environment a plus).
Possesses a positive and engaging personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere and putting guests at ease.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks with a smile.
Is a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and management.
Maintains a strong attention to detail and enjoys keeping things organized.
