Position Overview:
Greenhouse Biloxi is seeking a versatile and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Barista and Cashier.
In this role, you will play a dual function, showcasing your skills in coffee crafting while efficiently handling customer transactions and providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Barista Duties:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with precision and creativity.
Consistently uphold high standards in brewing, grinding, and presentation.
Engage with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Cashier
Responsibilities:
Efficiently and accurately handle cash transactions and operate the POS system.
Greet customers with a friendly demeanor, answer inquiries, and provide information about menu items.
Ensure a smooth and positive customer experience during the checkout process.
Operational Excellence:
Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
Collaborate with the kitchen and caf team to ensure a seamless and efficient service.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and inviting caf atmosphere.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about coffee bean origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
Educate customers about our coffee offerings and menu items.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista and cashier is preferred but not mandatory.
Passion for coffee and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
