We are currently seeking multiple Laborers to join our team.
As a Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in a military housing setting.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is construction inclined and enjoys working with their hands.
Description Painting- Our paint process consists of masking everything off with plastic and tape, drywall repairs (mud and texture), and caulking.
Painting will be done with either a roller or sprayer.
These homes are all one solid color including all trim and doors.
Coms/ Makeready- The com process is getting freshly lived in homes back to functioning standard for a new resident.
During this process a check list will be made of all components of the home not functioning properly.
This can consist of broken light fixtures, electrical outlets, doors, sink faucets, large appliances, blinds, flooring, etc.
We are responsible for making all of these repairs on the home.
Responsibilities:
- Manage time strategically to complete jobs in a timely manner - Take care of equipment provided - Communicate with client and employer on a daily basis - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Experience:
- Construction knowledge and experience working with power tools - Previous experience painting or home maintenance preferred - Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions - Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and hammers - Mold or water damage license is a plus - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks If you are a hardworking individual with general construction knowledge and experience working in a military housing environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
