Boomtown Casino - Biloxi is currently looking for a Database Manager to join the team.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Prepares and interprets market reports and assists Planning & Analysis Manager with various reports and historical trending information
Responsible for managing couponing and direct reward programs, including profitability, growth and segment decline
Responsible for the execution and accuracy of direct marketing and mail programs, extracts and ACSC functions
Assists with special events, promotions and special projects within Marketing as needed
Assists Department Managers with database needs for their individual areas
Prepares and interprets monthly Penn matrix, geographic and play reports, new member reports and other marketing information
Identifies and segments players by worth and profitability for direct mail and other promotions
Maintains casino database and works with Marketing Department and other Managers to ensure the list is clean and accurate
Provides monthly snapshot of marketing expenses for Penn management and manages direct marketing expenses such as mail and production
Manages all incentive programs within the ACSC system
Gathers database information for identifying profitable player segments and preparing pro formas; Makes recommendations as to profitability
Works closely with Director of Marketing to develop, implement, and execute overall strategies including promotions, events, and player card services
Ensures appropriate IT resources are available to run programs
Familiarization with all company brand programs and systems
Responsible for the overall integrity of daily operations, offers and customer database information
Maintains compliance with policies and procedures
Presents oneself as a credit to the company and encourages others to do the same
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Bachelor''s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
Two to five years progressively more challenging leadership role in marketing or operations
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required
Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English
Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors
Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills
Measurable objectives as defined on annual Performance appraisal
Teamwork - ability to work collaboratively with other departments and leaders to complete property/corporate initiatives and effective day to day operations
Financial results that meet or exceed budget expectations for revenue generation and cost control
Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
Must be able to obtain and maintain a MS Gaming Work Permit
