Responsibilities:
Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) seeks a talented Pump and Power Sales Representative who will be based in our Biloxi office. The chosen candidate must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 2 years progressive experience in an equipment-related industry required, preferably industrial/pump/power rentals. Potential management opportunities exist for individuals who have excellent people skills and a desire to succeed.
The Pump and Power Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for revenue growth, increasing customer account base and daily management in a sales territory encompassing the Gulf Coast area. Assess, evaluate and design various pumps, power and compressor systems to meet or exceed customer requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:
Knowledge of pump hydraulics, power and compression related applications
Ability to knowledgeable size and spec generators and distribution
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, including being able to plan business activities in a timely manner in advance with appropriate prioritization
Must possess strong customer service orientation. Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated and verified problem solving and negotiation skills
Experience working with a high performance team, focused on team and company success and committed to high company values and standards
Computer competent - familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Able to travel locally up to 90% and regionally up to 20% of the time
Strong employee training and development skills
BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, sales, or business.
2 to 4 years of experience in the pump, power and compressor rental field required
5 years of general industrial rental experience preferred
Works effectively with all levels of the company
Exceptional communication skills including face-to-face interaction
Multi tasker who uses project management skills to accomplish goals
Must have valid driver''s license and driving record in good standing
Understanding of local competition and market rates in order to drive results
Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
Candidate will be given the use of a company fleet vehicle for business purposes.
