Trainees will receive hands-on experience in every aspect of wholesale distribution, along with training materials, and coaching by experienced mentors. Trainees spend their first six months in a profit center, where they receive a business orientation that exposes them to every aspect of the business. Learning begins in the warehouse, progresses to counter sales, and then advances to inside sales and time spent in the field with the outside sales force. After the initial six-month business orientation, Trainees are given their first permanent assignment, which typically involves inside sales and outside sales and lasts for approximately 42 months. Once the skills of this assignment are successfully mastered, for the last 12 months of the Program, Trainees gain hands-on experience with Margin management, Operations management, and Profit Center leadership.
Express Employment Professionals is seeking college graduates open to relocation, with demonstrated leadership qualities in their educational, professional, or social experiences. All majors will be considered, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher is ideal. Preferred candidates will have held part-time jobs or internships that allowed them to develop general business skills or provided experience in areas such as customer service, sales, or finance. Experience in the plumbing or heating industry, or in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus, but not a requirement.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
