Oversees the daily operation of the merchandise location. Assists store retail associates in achieving the revenue plan and delivering an optimal guest experience.
Walk the floor in the retail store and interact with guests to determine satisfaction.
Ensures that all productivity and quality standards are maintained.
Manages all facets of service, display, and re-stocking the sales floor.
Implements inventory controls to manage retail shrinkage and swelling.
Prepare accurate completion of inventory preparation.
Motivates associates and ensures they are focused on guest service.
Provides associates with sales goals tied to revenue plan.
Consistently maintains the merchandise and visual plan. Maintains stores to standards including stocking, cleaning, folding, etc.
Responsible for labor control and assigning duties to retail associates.
Accountable for the development, coaching, and mentoring of retail associates.
Ensures accurate completion of team member schedules in accordance with forecasted business volume.
Responsible for input on team member evaluation as well as coaching, counseling and directing team members.
Anticipates and recommends employment needs.
Assists in training new team members.
Maintains high-level of knowledge regarding the company's products and happenings, and communicates properly to guests; establishes rapport with all guests through name recognition.
Notifies manager/supervisor of low inventory and recommends new inventory; communicates opportunities and concerns.
Responsible for completing payroll and payroll reports
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management and moves with a sense of urgency.
Adheres to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.
Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports any accidents to management.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Team Member Handbook.

Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts
Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Good judgment and decision making abilities
Must be 21 years old
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school degree or GED required.
Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in retail management preferred.

Exposed to weather conditions and prevalent temperature changes.
Subject to moderate to high ambient noise levels.
Frequently required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.
Frequently required to wash hands and/or wear gloves.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
