AFNET Applications Analyst, this role will provide operational and administrative support to the 333 TRS training squadron located at the Keesler Schoolhouse, Keesler AFB, MS.
Highlights of Responsibilities
Provide operational and system administration support to the Keesler Schoolhouse on AFNET applications and systems - evaluation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, testing, backup/restore and preventative maintenance .
Provide engineering support for installation, upgrade and modification to AFNET systems located at the schoolhouse.
Provide security assessment and apply regular system updates and TCTOS
Provide system administration support.
Report generation
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
2-5 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.
Requirements
Requires 3-5 years of IT-related experience.
DOD 8570 Security certification (Security
CE, etc)
Active Secret clearance.
Broad knowledge of the AFNET applications and systems to include: Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Environments including Active Directory, Microsoft Messaging Products including Exchange Server, NetIQ suite of system management tools, EMC SMARTS IONIX, BMC Remedy ARS and ITSM products, Secure Computing Sidewinder G2 Firewalls, Symantec Mail Security, CommVault Backup Products, Aruba wireless LAN products, IBM Tivoli NetCool Family of Products, Blue Coat Web Proxy and Anti-virus Appliances, HBSS suite of tools, Ironmail appliances, NetApp SAN products, EITSM and Cisco Internetworking Equipment (Routers, Switches, VPN Appliances, Firewalls, etc.)
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience with the application of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs)
Understanding of the DISA STIG requirements.
Additional technical certifications - MCP or MCITP for Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2008, Cisco CCNA or VMWare VCP are preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
