Responsible for supervising the daily operation of the Health Spa, Salon and Gift shop. This includes staffing, cleanliness, service provisions and retail operations.
Provides courteous service to all guests
Assists Health Spa manager with hiring, training, supervising, motivating employees in spa, salon and retail outlet
Assists management with maintaining retail and professional inventory in spa and gift shop
Provides input on scheduling and staffing
Works with staff to enforce company policies in a professional and courteous manner
Maintains a system to ensure that all employees are trained and certified
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
Assists in monthly and bi-annual inventories in health club and gift shop
Must have computer knowledge and the ability to learn new programs
Must possess excellent customer service, leadership, organizational and communication skills
Must be flexible to work long hours when necessary and work any day, any shift
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
Must present a well-groomed appearance
Must have a good understanding for retail needs and par levels
Nail Tech, Massage therapist or Cosmetologist license preferred
Stand and move throughout the spa and retail area. Must be able to lift 75 pounds and move heavy objects as well as stand and walk for long periods of time. Responds to visual and oral cues. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
