We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Count Services Supervisor. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Count Services Department for which this position is responsible
Safeguards all casino assets.
Oversees all hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling, counseling and terminating of cast members.
Ensures that all local, state and federal gaming rules and regulations are followed.
Investigates and responds to drop variances and exceptions.
Informs the Controller and/or Chief Financial Officer of any problems.
Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.
Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have experience in bookkeeping/accounting and handling cash. Also, must have problem solving skills
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer and keyboarding skills.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.
Must have excellent supervisory, organizational, and administrative skills. Should have knowledge of cash counting machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The cast member is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The cast member must be in good physical condition and able to work in an enclosed/secured area. The cast member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds while unloading carts holding bill validator boxes, carrying bill validators to carts and pushing the carts. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The cast member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate due to the noise of counting and coin processing equipment.
