Advertising Sales Executive

Generally responsible for selling TV ads to merchants who wish to advertise their products and services to the public along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Key Responsibilities
and Duties:
Call on and establish relationships with potential advertisers in the market area
Explain the boundaries, demographics, networks, and carriers of the station programming
Negotiate a contract agreement with the advertiser in accordance with the company's standards, policies, and pricing.
Serve as a liaison between the client and the station's production department to insure the final ad is in accordance with the client's expectations. This includes script creation, coordinating production of raw video footage, and insuring the ad is set up to air on the networks and times indicated on the contract.
Qualifications, Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities Required:
Three Years minimum sales experience. Preferably in the media Industry. Does not include retail sales.
Self Motivated
Team Player
Reliable Transportation
Permanent Residence in one of the three Gulf Coast Counties of Mississippi.
Compensation: This position is a COMMISSIONS ONLY position. Successful applicants shall be compensated a total of 25% of the gross revenue generated by their activity.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
