Vice President- Hotel Contract Sales

Encore is seeking a Vice President ? Hotel Contract Sales to have a specific focus within an assigned region of the US to identify hotels, resorts, conference centers, and convention centers that could require Encore Event Technology Services; to contact these prospective properties, to determine their current practices, possible needs, opportunities, and then, to leverage any individual or company\-wide relationships, develop and implement a plan to sell Encore Event Technology Services\. Additional account management responsibilities include maximizing relationships, revenues and profitability of assigned national accounts\.
Summary
Responsible for the regional hotel contract sales team for Encore Event Technologies\. Manages regional sales team personnel and team budgets\. Leads team to ensure goals on revenue and profit are achieved\. Leads team by growing opportunities with existing accounts by selling additional products and services\.
+ Leadership
- Direct team in the successful and profitable production of opportunities\.
- Assist leadership in strategy development\.
- May play key role on major accounts\.
- Collaborate with regional operations leadership\.
- Collaborate with counterpart AV brands on strategy and successful account relationships\.
- Participate in meetings for team that allow for collaboration on goals\.
+ Business Development Strategy
- Develop goals focused on values and brand pillars that will generate positive profit, customer service, and revenue growth\.
- Direct team to improve assigned territory and overall growth on all accounts\.
- Establish cross functional teams for accounts as necessary working with other business leaders\.
- Assist in inorganic growth initiatives as necessary and appropriate\.
+ Budget
- Ensure accurate budgets for the sales team\.
- Manage within team operational budget\.
+ Talent Management
- Recruit, develop, motivate and retain team members\.
- Define and ensure execution of internal and external training programs in cooperation with team leader\.
- Manage account and personnel succession planning\.
+ Analytics
- Ensure SalesForce\.com data integrity\.
- Report monthly on major accounts status \(business development opportunities, at risk, last year of contract\)\.
- Report monthly on market share status \(business development opportunities, at risk, last year of contract\)\.
- Report on weekly activity and pipeline reporting\.
+ Miscellaneous
- Support team on major proposals, pricing and presentations in tandem with Business Development leadership or other counterparts\.
- Participate in industry organizations on committees \(national and local basis\)\.
- Ensure accurate account contracting and account financial setup with Encore Corporate departments\.
REQUIREMENTS
99. Five \(5\) or more years of sales team leadership experience is required\.
99. Eight \(8\) or more years of related account management experience\.
99. Has proven the ability to successfully lead teams in the successful and profitable production of revenue opportunities totaling approximately $20 million or more\.
99. Strategic Account Experience in a lead role\.
99. Knowledge of sales systems such as SalesForce\.com is required\.
99. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications\.
99. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required\.
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor?s Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
