Cook teppan / Hibachi

Responsible for supervising the preparation of all foods during an assigned shift in the absence of the Sous Chef, ensuring the efficiency of the line and kitchen operation on a scheduled shift is completed in accordance with company specifications and standards.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.High school diploma or equivalent and two to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Two to three years experience or training as a cook's apprentice in a large, full-service hotel or restaurant or culinary school preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. ServSafe certification preferred. Food Safety training required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
