EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, for GS-0301, Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-14, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples include expert knowledge of military air and space program goals and objectives, functions, operations, policies, procedures, practices, concepts and theories and ability to apply that knowledge to a variety of work situations at various levels within the command, AF, DoD, Joint and private industry collaborations; expert and comprehensive knowledge on the research, preparation and coordination of MAJCOM-level, and HAF-level staff work to plan, develop and program AFSPC activities to meet AF and national defense objectives. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-15 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Thorough mastery-level knowledge of staff operations functions, management concepts, principles, and methodologies, military doctrine, leadership, organization constructs and total force integration efforts in order to develop and implement innovative approaches and solutions for staff operations issues. Knowledge of laws, National Security policies/agenda, military directives and instructions, foreign and local policies, safety and security requirements, and general command operating policies, requirements and procedures to provide NAF staff guidance and/or operational information. Broad and extensive knowledge of DoD, AF budget and programming policies, procedures, and programs as they relate to management of the DoD, AF, MAJCOM and NAF programming and budgeting processes; knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing and directing command staff plans and programs. Skill in briefing and communicating objectives, strategies, and implementation concepts to senior leaders/executive level managers with a delivery that is authoritative with strategic and technical accuracy; and the ability to communicate and interact effectively at highest levels dealing with a broad range of senior leaders, foreign dignitaries, Congressional staff, state and local officials in order to achieve stated positions or to make an adequate case for a particular strategy. Ability to plan, organize, and direct diverse operational staff and functions of a NAF and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations for a large staff including subordinate organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. Experience:
Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
