Dear Prospective Employer,
This letter is to express my interest in the Maintenance Supervisor/Maintenance position listed. Based on my skills as a Maintenance Supervisor/Maintenance, I am confident that I would be a great addition to your team.
My resume that highlights my ability/knowledge/expertise in A Specific Subject Matter and A Specific Area or Industry is enclosed. During my time as a Maintenance Supervisor, I was able to succeed/save money/save time by doing all work in house (with the exceptions of roofing.) I would follow up on work orders performed by maintenance staff, turnkey and oversee outside contractors performing any/all work being done on my property/properties.
I am excited about the Maintenance Supervisor/ Maintenance position and the ability to help your company succeed. Thank you in advance for your time. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or any of my past employers. I would appreciate it if your company would review my qualifications and contact me for more information.
However, I would like to clarify the absences in my employment history. March 18th of 2011 I had open heart surgery, so I had to be off work roughly 1 year.
In 2012 I decided to slowly merge back into the field I loved doing for 17 years, so I proceeded to do odd jobs of preventive maintenance in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, remodeling, decks etc. to see if I would be able to continue doing what I love the most and fortunately I’ve been able to do so above and beyond what I initially thought without any complications whatsoever.
Since I have gotten back into the field, I am so ready to go back full-time in maintenance because I love my job and dedicated most of my life to do excellent work and I take extreme pride in whatever I am involved in doing, my residents are my top priority as well as the day to day operation of the company.
All I ask is for you to give me the chance to prove to you that I am well capable to handle my job both physically & mentally, please feel free to contact my previous employers/references listed above.
Sincerely, Carl D Martin
